The Big Fun Walk
The Big Fun Walk is North London Hospice’s flagship fundraising event and kicks off our summer calendar. Originally set up the Hospice’s North-West support group over twenty years ago, the Big Fun Walk has grown and become one of our most loved and talked about events. The beautiful route takes you through some of London’s most beautiful scenery and past its most famous landmarks. You will enjoy the breath taking views of the city on top of Hampstead Heath and Primrose Hill. You will walk past the iconic Marble Arch and Buckingham palace and you will celebrate in style in the heart of Westminster where your medals, live music, and a well-earned brew await you.
The 2017 Big Fun Walk was the most successful event in the Hospice’s history and was a fitting way to celebrate our 25th anniversary of inpatient care. We would like to thank everybody who took part!
- 1,252 of you registered to walk
- You raised £154,512.84!!!
- We received 5,000 individual donations
- You created 192 online fundraising pages
- 7 teams raised over £2,000 for the Hospice
- Over 50 volunteers helped on the day with marshalling and registration
Donations from four of our friendly corporate supporters helped make the event such a success so we would also like to thank HW Fisher, Soho Sandwiches, Rogers Removals and Reynolds Grocers for their support.
