This line is checked for messages several times a day from October to May, during
preparation for the Big Fun Walk, and whilst sponsor money is being collected and
sent in. It is checked less frequently at other times. Calls will not be monitored
on the weekend of the Walk.
The North West Support Group
The North West Support Group of the North London Hospice is one of several geographical
groups who raise funds and also aim to raise local awareness of the Hospice's work.
Its committee, like all NLH bodies, comprises members from different faiths and
organisations. Some represent their local church, synagogue, school, Institute or
Health Centre: others represent themselves and their friends and neighbours.
Under the chairmanship of Stuart Goring we are always looking for new ideas and
new Friends to help with our activities. You can become a Friend of the North West
Support Group for an annual subscription (minimum £5) payable September 1st. This
entitles you to the Hospice newsletter plus information about local fundraising
events. Extra donations are always welcome! Friends of the NWSG can also vote at
the AGM when the Committee and Officers are elected. To join, just send your name,
